'80-'81 XS850 with Hitachi HSC34 Carbs
This is the second evolution to the Yamaha triple carbs and were found on the XS850 sized engine. They are a Hitachi carb and are a far cry from the Mikuni design used on the earlier XS750 triples. They have a huge amount of proprietary parts found only on this model and can be extremely hard to correctly rebuild and even harder to find kits that are correct. I have done quite a few of these and enjoy the challenge.
Note: Starting in '74 Yamaha started year coding bikes in the last letter used in the name. You may see this code on your bikes paperwork or in a parts list or catalog. I leave this off as it is redundant if you are showing the year anyway. There is a chart below to find your year code.

carbs. The carbs all have the same internal tuning. The numbers
denote cosmetic changes like plain top caps, chrome top caps and the
Midnight with gold top caps and gloss black painted carbs.
