'84-'85 FJ600 with Mikuni BS32 Carbs
This is the FJ600 sport with Mikuni BS32 carbs. These carbs will get ya. They have a very unintuitive tuning set-up and most times it is mixed-up before you open them. I love rebuilding them due to not being a common Mikuni BS and the detail it takes to make them work properly, but there are not many left in the US.
Note: Starting in '74 Yamaha started year coding bikes in the last letter used in the name. You may see this code on your bikes paperwork or in a parts list or catalog. I leave this off as it is redundant if you are showing the year anyway. There is a chart below to find your year code.
