'94-'96 RF600R With Mikuni BDST36SS and BDST33SS CV Down-Draft Carbs

This is the first and final generation, for the US, of the RF600R. These are very unique carbs for a Suzuki, they resemble Yamaha second gen FZR1000 carbs. This bike had a motor based off the GSXR600W, but with a down-draft head. A cross bread sport tour-super sport that was short lived. The normal 49 states version came with 36mm carbs just like the 900, but the california version had smaller 33mm carbs. Care must be taken with these carbs as some parts are almost unobtanium. They made a 900 version with almost the exact carb set, but even they are not exact. It is very important to correctly ID these carbs  

 Starting in '71 Suzuki started year coding bikes in the last letter used in the name. You may see this code on your bikes paperwork or in a parts list or catalog.  I leave this off as it is redundant if you are showing the year anyway. There is a chart below to find your year code.

Below is a set of '95-'96 RF600R 21EGO carbs. These carbs look are almost exactly like the RF900 with the exception of the choke cable anchor used on the '94. All the 49 states years are tuned the same, but the California are tuned different and are smaller 33mm carbs.  These bikes run awesome when set-up correctly.
