'82 GS1000S 16V Fours with Mikuni BS34 CV Slide Carbs
This is the most unique of the early GS1000's the Katana, now with a 16V engine like the GS1100E's. Comes with the BS34 CV slide carbs. Almost the same carb as the GS1100E except it uses the '80-'81 style clamp-on choke cable and different tuning.
Starting in '71 Suzuki started year coding bikes in the last letter used in the name. You may see this code on your bikes paperwork or in a parts list or catalog. I leave this off as it is redundant if you are showing the year anyway. There is a chart below to find your year code.
Below is a set of '80-'81 GS1100E 49200 carbs. With the exception of the internal tuning they are the same carb. This is a VERY rare bike in the US and one of the few Japanese carbs I have not had the oportunity to rebuild.
