'80-'81 GS1000 8V Fours with Mikuni BS34 CV Slide Carbs

This is the GS1000 8V now with the BS34 CV slide carbs. These models came in two varieties. The GS1000S Sport with a chain drive and the GS1000G/GL with shaft drive. The carbs look the same on both models, but the different ID's used different internal tuning. 

Starting in '71 Suzuki started year coding bikes in the last letter used in the name. You may see this code on your bikes paperwork or in a parts list or catalog.  I leave this off as it is redundant if you are showing the year anyway. There is a chart below to find your year code.

Below is a set of '80-'81 GS1000G 49150 carbs. These look like most of the '80-'81 big Suzuki's with the exception of the clutch cable guard between the #1 and #2 carbs. However, they do have specific tuning and should not be used on the 16V engines.
