'90-'93 VX800 With Mikuni BS36SS Side-Draft and BDS36SS Down-Draft Combo Carbs

This is the dual carb Suzuki sport-tour that used the VS800 type engine. They have the same odd twin carb set with a side-draft rear carb and a down-draft front carb. They are totally different versions and can be very problematic if not tuned right or the parts get mixed up. Both information and proper rebuild kits are not readily available. Most of these I rebuild have a lot more issues than just being gummed-up. I never buy kits for these, I make them up myself so they function as they should. These bikes run great when everything is right. These bikes do not have the same tuning on all models and years even though the carbs will physically fit any year.  All Suzuki  '90's are L, '91's are M, '92's are N, and '93's are P. You may see these extra year letters on your paperwork or on a parts list for your bike, I do not list them here as it would be redundant.

Below is a set of '92 VX800 45C10 carbs. These carbs take a lot of care to do them correctly. I have rebuilt a few of these and most had many pitfalls involved with the job. They have a lot of things other carbs do not have and many things to overlook if your not on your toes.  These bikes run awesome when set-up correctly.
