'98-'04 VL1500 Intruder With Mikuni BDSR36 Dual Down-Draft Carb
This is the big daddy of V-Twin Suzuki cruiser bikes with carbs. These carbs seem simple, but they have multiple parts unique to the two sides. Care must be taken on the placement of parts due to how they sit on the bike in relationship to which cylinder is which. This bike is a beast when the carbs are set-up correctly.
Starting in '71 Suzuki started year coding bikes in the last letter used in the name. You may see this code on your bikes paperwork or in a parts list or catalog. I leave this off as it is redundant if you are showing the year anyway. There is a chart below to find your year code.
