Z1-900 Models '73-'75 with Mechanical Slide Mikuni VM28SC

This is the famous Z1-900 carbs, not available in the US in '72 as in other countries. All Z1 carbs look similar and will physically interchange, but they are very different for internal tuning and lots of other parts. These can be very tricky if you are not famillar with what goes with what set. It is very common to see any year or type set on any other year of the '73-'75 Z1. I have seen a lot of cheating by unscrupulous sellers that have combined different years to sell for the high price they bring. So don't be suprised if your prized Z1 that just does not seem to run or start well, has some goofed up interchanges or settings. When they are accurate, they run excellently. Don't allow to be told otherwise.

Pictured below is a rare '73 Z1-900 1470 "Ribless" set, a normal '73 Z1-900 1472 set and a normal '75 Z1B-900 2170 set, so you can see some of the many differences. All models and years listed here will physically interchange, but the different ID numbers do not have the same internal tuning or parts.
