700cc Fours '84-'85 with CV Slide Mikuni BS34 and KeiHin CV34mm
These were the only four cylinder 700cc made for the US market. Both have a totally different brand carb and share no tuning. The KZ700A was basically a economized '82 KZ750R GPZ and the carbs are similar, just without the black plastic tops. The ZN700A has no real equivalent overall, but does share engine and carb style with the '83 KZ750F LTD. The ZN700 uses the more common carb to nearly all the KZ750's which is the KeiHin CV34's and the KZ700 uses the Mikuni BS34's reserved usually for the larger 1000-1100cc models and the GPZ 750's. Due to the rarity of both models, it is common to see people interchange other models carbs to these bikes. It is a high priority to properly ID these carbs before acquiring any parts for rebuilds.
Pictured below is a actual KZ700A-84-V088 set and a KZ750E set used to represent the ZN700A carbs.
