'98-'09 VT750 Shadow V-Twin Models KeiHin 34mm VD Dual Carbs
This section covers most of the VT750 Shadow styles and years from '98-up They can easily be mixed-up with each other as they are all KeiHin VB 34mm V-Twin, dual carb models of the same basic format. They share a lot of parts, but have very diverse internal tuning. Sometimes you will find the bodies interchanged between all models and if they have ever been worked on, could have incorrect sized parts installed. This means care should be taken in correct id of the carbs before acquiring replacement parts. Also care in installing parts in the front carbs compared to the rear carbs. Even factory manuals are vague on this issue and do not explain all or none of the front-to-rear differences including main jet emulsion tubes, slide springs, jet needles, and main jet sizes.
