'83-'88 VT700C, VT750C, and VT800C Shadow V-Twin KeiHin VD7 and VDG Dual Carbs
VT750C '83 and VT700C '84-'87 carbs are basically the same for all years. They can easily be mixed-up with other years and even VT800C made in '88. This means care should be taken in correct id of the carbs before acquiring replacement parts. Also care in installing parts in the front carbs compared to the rear carbs. Even factory manuals are vague on this issue and do not explain all or none of the front-to-rear differences including main jet emulsion tubes, slide springs, jet needles, and main jet sizes.
