GL1500 Goldwing '88-'00 36mm KeiHin VD Downdraft

All GL1500's seem to interchange, but are very different depending on the year. They can be a daunting set of carbs to rebuild if your not very careful, and almost impossible if too many parts have been changed out with other years or junk rebuild parts were used. Due to the fact that they are a total downdraft version of the common VB carb, they can be prone to leaking if incorrect float parts are used. Proper identification before rebuild is mandatory as improper jetting or inferior parts will make these bikes run terribly. These bike rely on smooth torque output and smooth idle to be enjoyable. These are one of my favorites as they are very technical and require you to be on your toes.
