Below is a 1975 GL1000 (755A) Goldwing carb and a few pics of the last year '79 GL1000 (771A). The GL1000's are very common to have many types of modified, changed, incorrect years, and even GL1100 carbs installed. All years of the stock GL1000 carbs look basically the same as below. Quickest way to make sure they are actual GL1000 carbs are the early KeiHin CV caps with the white plastic inserts. Then use the list to identify the year of the carbs. Purists will ALWAYS match the carbs to the year. The internal tuning is different on almost every year and one needs to pay close attention to getting it correct. Even with the correct kits it is easy to mix up the jets or replicate a past owners mistake. Especially the 3 air jets.
