'96-'06 CMX250 Rebels (Second Gen) KeiHin VE08 and VE18
Below is a '04 CMX250C Rebel (VE35CA) carb specific to the second generation CMX250 Rebel. The first gen carb (VE08,VE18) has a spicut mount and clamps to the intake manifold, as opposed to bolting to the manifold like the second gen (VE35,VE36). The first gen also uses a larger slide and diaphragm. Each year type must be built properly to specs for a smooth running Rebel. All '96-'06 CMX250C Rebels have the same mounting and tuning, with the exception of the 49 states and California having different internal tuning.
