'85-'87 CMX250 Rebels (First Gen) KeiHin VE08 and VE18
Below is a '85 CMX250C Rebel (VE08AA) carb specific to the first generation CMX250 Rebel. The first gen carb (VE08,VE18) has a spicut mount and clamps to the intake manifold, as opposed to bolting to the manifold like the second gen (VE35,VE36). The first gen also uses a larger slide and diaphragm. Each year type must be built properly to specs for a smooth running Rebel.
