CB400A and CM400A Automatic Twins '78-'79 KeiHin 28mm VB24's
All of the 400-450 Twin carbs made from '78-'86 look similar, but they are VERY diverse. You have to pay close attention to the specific version to correctly rebuild and the bike they are currently installed. They are found to be interchanged and very mixed-up so just replicating current parts installed, is a recipe for disaster. They are also 28mm carbs and will NOT correctly work on the Shifter models, only the Auto. Notable differences in '78-'79 would be the only years for the adjustable float and matching float needle. They do not use a accellerator pump.
