'82-'84 V45 VF750C and VF700C Magna V-Four KeiHin VD51's and VD03
VF750C V45 Magna's share a lot in common with the VF750S V45 Sabre models, but are different in the plenum shape and internal tuning. Even the '82-'83 Magna's are not exactly the same as far as tuning goes. Sometimes you will find the bodies interchanged between all four models. This means care should be taken in correct id of the carbs before aquiring replacement parts. Also care in installing parts in the front carbs compared to the rear carbs. Even factory manuals are vague on this issue and do not explain all front-to-rear differences including main jet emulsion tubes, slide springs, jet needles, and main jet sizes.
Below is a set of '82 VF750C V45 Magna (VD51AA) carbs. Both VF750C V45 '82-'83 and the VF700C '84 models look the same, but do not share the same internal tuning parts.
