'85-'86 VF700C Magna V-Four KeiHin VD06's and VD07's
These Magna VF700C carbs are unique compared to earlier versions. The last two years of the first gen Magna's and can be identified by the added air cut-off valve caps on the sides of each carb. Care must be taken during rebuilds and in ID of the carbs as later versions for some interceptors and Super Magna's look similar. Also parts front-to-rear are not the same, and care must be taken when replacing parts or servicing. Even factory manuals are vague on this issue and do not explain all front-to-rear differences including main jet emulsion tubes, slide springs, jet needles, and main jet sizes.
Below is a set of '86 VF750C Magna (VD06BA) carbs. Both VF700C '85-'86 models look the same, but do not share the same internal tuning parts.
